Common Questions

In Split mode, head to the Consolidated tab and tap "Pay Up" to log a payment and reset your shared balance. In Shared mode, you reimburse yourself per payment method by logging a withdrawal instead — see below.
In Shared mode, when you're ready to reimburse yourself from your shared account, tap the withdrawal option for a payment method on the main screen. This records what you pulled from the shared account and resets that method's running balance to zero.
You can edit or delete any unsettled expense you logged yourself — your partner's expenses are always read-only. In Split mode, settled expenses are locked. In Shared mode, any expense included in a withdrawal is permanently frozen; corrections should be logged as a new expense.
During setup, one of you generates an invite code and shares it with your partner. Your partner enters the code to link your accounts. Once connected, you both see the same expenses and balances in real time.
